Tom brings 20 years of enterprise integration experience and 14 years with MuleSoft. At Salesforce he led development teams and directed API-led integration programs for FDA, HHS ACF / Office of Refugee Resettlement, the State of Illinois, and Bank of America. Earlier he led Apisero's Enterprise Solution Architecture team as the firm grew to more than 2,100 engineers, and he founded Windward Technology Group, which became Verso Technologies. He also has hands-on experience running security operations centers and critical facilities.

Most organizations run on a handful of authoritative systems: case management, CRM, ERP, HR, and financial systems. AI tools that cannot reach those systems give generic answers or rely on stale copies of data. We connect AI to those systems through governed APIs, so answers and actions are based on current, authoritative records, and every access is controlled and logged.

MCP is an open standard for connecting AI assistants and agents to data sources and tools. Instead of building a custom integration for every AI tool and every system, an organization exposes a system once through an MCP server, and any compatible AI client can use it. For agencies, that means one place to enforce access rules, least privilege, and auditing, rather than many point-to-point connections.
